About me
I am a registered psychologist with experience in the clinical (Hospital and private practice), educational (University and schools) and organisational environment across Colombia, USA and Australia. I have worked with a diverse range of individuals, including those with neurodiversity traits, as well as people from various cultural backgrounds, ages, and genders, to support their mental health during transitional life moments.
I have worked with clients one on one (face to face or Telehealth), conducted family therapy, group therapy and developed and delivered workshops and programs focused on personal growth, including physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. Additionally, my goal of creating positive change in the world has led me to collaborate on various research projects, including Voices on Education Future 2050 by UNESCO, the UNIV National Congress with the academic works "Immigrant Life and the Repercussions in the Family" and "The Immigrant Life: Dilemma Between Health and Daily Responsibilities" as one of my passions has been on the Cultural and Diversity Linguistic (CALD) community.
My passion is driven by alternative therapies and transpersonal psychology, having a humanistic approach (Person-centered) integrating with holistic and evidence-based practices such as Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Solution Focused Therapy (SFT) and ecotherapy. Compassion, acceptance, love, motivation and action (CALMA space) drive my therapeutic approach, helping clients connect with their inner selves and experience the full meaning of life, making the difficult transitional moments more manageable. My interests include family constellations, regressions, Reiki, acupuncture, and psychedelic-assisted therapy. Proficient in two languages (Spanish and English), enabling the expansion of my services to culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.
I’m looking to continue supporting individuals, families and couples going through anxiety, depression, grief and loss (migration, divorce and death), relationship issues, decision making difficulties, work stress, career issues, cultural shock, self-esteem and personal/ spiritual growth.
